Wide Garage Sale The event will be held
Saturday, April 19th 2008, rain or shine. With about
75 paid particitpants each year, buyers come from miles around because
of the reputation of our participating sales. City maps with locations
of sales are provided by the committee and passed out the morning of
the sale.

Sarcoxie Days Celebration Our annual celebration is
held beginning the second Thursday of September. On-going events
are; displays
and competition of home arts and crafts, fine arts and horticulture,
livestock show and competition, carnival rides, food booths, vendor's
booths, and live entertainment. Contests consist of Princess Sarcoxie
contest, baby contest, archery contest, domino tournament, washers
tournament, Kidde tractor pull, and a parade will be held on
Saturday
afternoon. Live music will be presented from the historic gazebo
Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday afternoon and evening.

Sarcoxie Christmas Parade Presented
the first Sunday evening of December at 5:00 p.m. A little Miss and Mr
Merry Christmas are selected from elementary aged children. The theme
related event, features Santa Claus, hot chocolate, and bags of candy
and apples for the whole community after the parade.
